Lykaios was happy that his sister had finally managed to fall asleep. Luciana had been so upset when their mother had left that she had spent several hours crying. Holding her doll to her chest, the girl slumbered quietly in the corner.
Sara appeared from the door, carrying a torch. She placed it in the makeshift holder on the wall and sat down. “The fire’s nearly out. I just don’t have the energy to keep it going. I’ll have to start one again in the morning.”
“If we don’t freeze to death before then,” Lykaios sneered.

17 Years and Forever - Part IISara's eyes hazed. The flicker of the campfire was before her, but it blurred in and out. The men had grabbed her, tying her to a tree. The wound in her side was not deep, but it hurt immensely, and it seeped fluid down her leg. If it wasn't cared for, she would die of the blood loss. Though a part of her realized she'd be dead far before then.

Empress Luciana stared out the window, warm streams of sunlight dancing on her cheeks. She intently watched the bustle of activity down below, a smile gracing her delicate pink lips.

The young man looked at his sister and rolled his eyes. “It’s not like they’re going to leave without us, you know.”
Luciana giggled and pulled on her brother’s arm. She couldn’t help it, she was excited. When she had first come to Gale City years earlier, she had seen airplanes up in the sky and had read about them in storybooks. They fascinated her and she had always wanted to ride in one, but never had the chance. That was about to change.
Lykaios stared through the window at the small jet sitting out on the air field and frowned. “I don’t know about that thing. It doesn’t look safe. I’d far rather travel on a dragon or griffin.”
A slender hand fell on the prince’s shoulder. “I’ve ridden on a griffin before. Trust me, this is much more comfortable.” Sara moved away from the man, dropping her duffel bag onto a nearby chair.

This is so very sweet. The poses and and the moonlight. Luciana is so comfortable with him and Danny is so caringly watching over her.

I love how Luciana's hair just drapes over her face like that as she sleeps against his leg.

Mirz and I were talking about how their relationship would be, I think I know where this scene is going to come from in our upcoming sequel to When World's Collide.

i really liked to draw them ».« , i tried to make a espontaneous moment thats why Danny is pulling the blanket to warm luciana and the fact that her hair is delicate and fallen on his legs and on her face is because of the fact that when we sleep we do not realize but our hair is asleep as freely.

It's a very beautiful scene indeed.

I think you made the moment quite well. You can certainly feel the sense of care and friendship there.

As for her hair, well it's gravity.

Hair is meant to flow freely unless it's pulled back with a hairtie. I really love the details of how her hair flows over his leg and her face.

This was a wonderful gift! I am very glad that you enjoyed doing this drawing.

i tied to visualise the moment inside my head

and the atmophere its like fantasy that's why I put the detail of her head with the sparkle and eye color of luciana like it was something that was part of her ».«

i have some commissions next its another for Mirz xD uhuhuh its relly good for me because doing them i can improve too

I think it's the best way to go about it really. Especially at night where you don't really have much light anyway, the moonlight glow as blue is pretty sweet.

I really think so as well! I need to get more practice with my own work.

uhuhu !! The feeling I have right now to know that people liked what i drew is really good

makes me want to draw more

i belive that with much practice we can improve even if only a little bit because sometimes I lose my patience too when I can not get good results
